| In order to improve the election inspector/poll worker training this
year we are holding a total of ten classes throughout the County for all
of the inspectors in Columbia County. The classes will include the procedures
to be followed at the polling sites and also the procedures on the use
of the Sequoia Imagecast machine for the disabled. We will also include
a discussion on appropriate ways to deal with the disabled voter. These
local classes should make it easier for the inspectors to attend the class
and by having ten classes the class size will be reduced substantially.
All of these classes will also be open to members of the public. |
